Hulk Smash!!!!!

Yep, he sure does, among other destructive acts. But hey, it's all about his sense of self preservation, so no problem. While this new incarnation is not perfect, it delivers what audiences wanted to see the first time around, and that's the big green guy tearing up lots of stuff and acting all bad ass. Not to mention a showdown with his nemesis the Abomination, a rather terrifying creature that looks like something out of a bad dream. I'm not saying that Ang Lee's 2003 version was as a horrific as many say, but in all honesty, there's something wrong about a Hulk movie made by a guy who's greatest critical achievement was a film about gay cowboys.

Hillary Wins.....

...the popular vote. Actually, it's the popular vote if you include Puerto Rico, an area that doesn't get to vote in the general election. Fear not, this is not going to be an anti-Hillary or Pro-Obama post. Rather, and I know this might be seen as cliched, it is a call for unity in the Democratic Party. I remember the last time a certain Democrat was faced with having to accept defeat in spite of having the popular vote. I remember how the party was united, but alas it was for naught as the Supreme Court made the ultimate decision to launch us into eight years of Dark Ages.

I have to admire the supporters of both the Clinton and Obama Camps in their refusal to concede to one another. I admire the determination displayed by both candidates. What I do not admire is what has happened to the unity that once existed in this party. Viewing the ferocity with which the two candidates and their respective supporters attack one another, it makes me ask a question: where was this determination eight years ago? Imagine what could have been accomplished if this "never say die" attitude had been present during the days after the 2000 election? Could you have pictured this group standing for such a decision as made by the Supreme Court? Where were they then, why are they now, and when will they finally realize what they could become?
