Indiana Jones and the Mystery of the Opposite Sex

Went to check out the fourth Indy outing for a second time this morning, it gets better with a second viewing as you know what is coming and actually focus on the style and plot a details a bit more. Some of the flaws are more obvious, but still, fun!
Last night my buddy and I went to a beachfront bar next to the OceanWalk movie theater. We noticed many women dressed up and drinking Cosmopolitans, as if they were going to an event of special reason. Yes, the Sex and the City movie was opening. What I find amusing is that for all the wisecracks women might have made against us guys who put on fedora hats for the opening night of Indy, there were just as many wearing the wardrobes of the characters from the TV series last night. Women can be geeks to, just about different kinds of things. I would be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to do the old sneak in to a movie you didn't pay for thing as I was leaving Indy this morning, as a Sex showing was beginning not five minutes later. Maybe I could have been like Indy, journeying into the great unknown to unearth the secrets of the mysterious race called women. The mysterious theme from the Indy movies (you know the one, where he's in the room in Raiders and that sunbeam points to the location of the ark) played through my head as I stood looking at the entrance to the screening. Then I realized that Indy would most likely never do such a thing (sneak in without paying), and he definitely wouldn't be taking fashion tips. But hey, us guys had our little outing last weekend, let the women have theirs for at least one this summer. Afterall, with material like Kung Fu Panda, Incredible Hulk, and the new Batman on the horizon, who is truly the target of summer movies? Okay, adolescent males for the most part, but more stuff is out there for the guys this season, no debating it.
